«Тяжелое зрелище»: премьера фильма «Звук свободы»

11 сентября в кинотеатре «Художественный» состоялась светская премьера фильма «Звук свободы». Хедлайнером мероприятия стала Ксения Собчак. 

Кинокартина основана на реальных событиях. Тим Баллард — агент правительства США — увольняется со службы, чтобы посвятить жизнь спасению детей от сексуального рабства. В ходе операции по борьбе с торговлей Тим Баллард освобождает мальчика, который рассказывает ему о своей сестре, оставшейся в руках жестоких торговцев. Понимая, какая чудовищная судьба ждет девочку, герой решается на опасную спасательную операцию в джунглях Колумбии.

Работу над фильмом завершили в 2018 году, но в прокат он вышел лишь спустя несколько лет. Изначально фильм снимался на базе 20th Century Fox, но после их слияния с Disney права на кинокартину были проданы Верастеги. Дальше фильм ждал долгий поиск прокатчика. Компании-дистрибьюторы боялись брать картину на табуированную тему сексуального рабства детей. В марте этого года права на международный прокат приобрела Angel Studios. Мировая премьера состоялась 4 июля 2023 года. При своем небольшом бюджете в 14,6 млн долларов картина уже собрала в прокате более 190,2 млн долларов, заняв 3-е место в рейтинге самых кассовых фильмов этого лета (1-е место — «Барби»; 2-е место — «Оппенгеймер»).

Перед показом кинокартины Влад Лисовец признался, что не смотрел трейлер. Только слышал о «Звуке свободы». «Я никогда не смотрю трейлер ни одного фильма. Для меня любая картина от и до должна быть сюрпризом. Я не хочу видеть ни одного кадра до просмотра. Не люблю. Эта затравка не для меня. Я могу прочитать о фильме первые четыре строчки, дальше закрываю», — рассказал стилист. 

Также он поделился, что любит смотреть тяжелые фильмы. «Сегодня настроение какое-то черное. Что-то я даже не знаю, зайду ли я в зал. Вообще мне нравятся тяжелые фильмы, потому что переживания развивают душу. Поэтому такие картины надо смотреть, тем более о такой серьезной проблеме», — резюмировал Влад Лисовец.

После показа фильма состоялся паблик-ток с Ксенией Собчак. Она поделилась своими впечатлениями от картины и подробнее рассказала о проблеме детского рабства. 

«Тяжелое зрелище. Я очень много во время просмотра думала о том, что это, наверное, самая табуированная тема — насилие, связанное с детьми. Тем более работорговля. Это касается не только этого фильма, но и любого другого, где есть детское насилие, педофилия и так далее, смотреть такое иногда просто невозможно. Это затрагивает что-то глубинное в нас. У любого нормального человека возникает первое желание от этого отстраниться, убежать, не подходить к этой теме. Настолько отравляющая тебя энергия. В этом смысле такие картины очень значимы, потому что они через такое сложное чувство, эмоции, когда несколько раз хотелось выйти из зала, в нас происходят какие-то важные вещи. На это нельзя закрывать глаза и проходить мимо. Сидя здесь, ты смотришь и кажется, что Колумбия, Северная Америка так далеко. Слава Богу, что это не касается цивилизованного мира. Конечно, это все не так. Коснуться это может абсолютно каждого. Тяжелый для просмотра фильм. Это точно та тема, которую нам сегодня нужно обсудить», — выступила с вступительной речью Ксения Собчак. 

Также журналистка рассказала о создании своей картины: «Если захочу снять фильм, я, наверное, об этом задумаюсь, и тогда вы об этом точно узнаете. Я не режиссер, таких амбиций у меня нет. Мы делаем всякие важные журналистские расследования».

«Мы сейчас живем в небезопасном мире. Безусловно, лучше вообще ограждать детей от таких вещей, из-за которых они живут в страхе. С другой стороны мир сам по себе — безумное место, где такие вещи происходят», — подвела итог Ксения Собчак.
