4 августа на Новой сцене Театра на Таганке состоялся музыкальный спектакль «Русский крест». В основу инсценировки Марины Брусникиной легла одноименная поэма Николая Мельникова «Русский крест».
Народный артист России, худрук Государственного театра Наций, Евгений Миронов появился в образе простого русского человека Ивана Ростка. Спектакль-концерт длится менее полутора часов, однако, ощущения после просмотра не отпускают зрителя и после выхода из зала. Постановка рекомендована для гостей старше 16 лет, и дело не только в звучащих со сцены слов «водка» и «пьянство». Боль за свою страну, за весь русский народ, пронизывающие произведение, увидеть сможет каждый. Но в полной мере ощутить их силу и горький пророческий подтекст верно истолкует не каждый зритель.
Под музыкальное сопровождение народного оркестра «Комонь» и музыки Николая Попова артист рассказывает о нелегкой сельской жизни. Индивидуальное мастерство мэтра Евгения Миронова в сочетании с режиссерской работой и ярким музыкальным наполнением придает новое звучание нетлеющей классике.
Оставшись без семьи, без рабочей руки в глухом селе, 50-летний Иван Росток становится сторожем. Его верный пес Кубик да стакан спиртного остаются единственными добрыми друзьями. Счастливые мгновенья ушедших дней, проведенных с семьёй, наполненных радостью и светом, дарят лишь ночные сны в хмельном угаре.
Стоит пробиться в окно солнечному лучу и бесцельное существование продолжается вновь. Опустошенность, запустение и отчаяние заполняют сцену театра, а вместе с тем накрывают и Петровский скит.
Великий «бой» каждый час происходит за каждого человека, незримый, бесплотный, но смертельный. Душа, настоящая, русская, балансирует на обрыве пропасти, рискуя пропасть навек.
В селе завелся враг, страшнее любого года и орудия. «Безродье», подобное мусору, развелось в русском селе, не имея намерений жить тяжёлым трудом. Они не отягощают себя запретами и законами, святынями и порядками, забыв предков, и весь человеческий род, пристрастившись к пьянству, воровству и бесчестью.
Хотя произведение родилось лишь около 60 лет назад, для новых поколений оно наглядно передает картину русской жизни. И речь идёт не только о сельских жителях, их быте, проблемах, ценностях, но и о вызовах, с которыми столкнулся народ, став «не нужным». «И Богу стали не нужны, и власти», – признается в сердцах Иван. Рисует Евгений Миронов картины деревенских будней, быт простого народа, натурально, с просторечным деревенским словцом. Будь то работающие в поле мужики, хлопочущая по дому жена или утратившие веру жители. И невольно видится городская повседневность. Разруха – образ собирательный.
И хотя поэма затрагивает тему религии, божественной силы, движущей силы. Истинная вера, направляющая человека сокрыта в нем самом. Вернуться к роду великих Ростовых утопающего в водке и бессмысленности без внутреннего света невозможно. Переосмыслить жизнь, встать на путь иной и начать служение Богу и своему народу лишь услышав слово «Бог» – задача крайне сложная. Как разрушение начинается с души человека, так и спасение рождается в глубинах сознания.
В грязи, крови и гнили руин местного храма промотавший полвека Иван вновь обретает стимул жить. Великая цель – восстановление храма овладевает им: «Может, церковь восстановим? Может, легче станет жить?». И вслед за одним пробуждается от многолетнего сна и само село. И снова разгорается в сердце огонь, возвращается надежда на лучшее будущее.
Писатель Захар Прилепин называл Мельникова «последним поэтом деревни», «последним голосом уходящей Руси». «Русский крест» — это не просто поэма, это пророчество». Трагическая гибель деревень и вымирание русского народа начинались с неизбежного переселения в город, и постепенно разрасталась в демографическую катастрофу. На грани исчезновения оказываются не только сельские местности, но и некогда известные города Торжок, Верхний Тагил, Каргополь и многие другие.
