29 июня на Арбате состоялось закрытие 103 сезона театра им. Евгения Вахтангова. На сцену перед театром вышли актеры с музыкальными и театральными номерами. Открытый концерт могли посмотреть все желающие. Ведущими вечера стали артисты театра и кино Анна Дубровская и Евгений Князев.
В этот вечер своими выступлениями многочисленных зрителей радовали актеры театра Марина Есипенко, Игорь Карташев, Евгений Цыганцов, Полина Рафеева, Полина Кузьминская, Полина Бондарь, Юрий Поляк, Елизавета Палкина, Юрий Цокуров, Евгения Ивашова, Ян Гахарманов, Дарья Щербакова, Полина Чернышова, Анна Чумак. По традиции на сцену вышли и друзья театра, среди которых артистка Елена Чарквиани композитор Алла Зохина и китайский музыкант-виртуоз Юй Сяо, сыгравший на балалайке.
Вахтанговцы из поколения в поколения передают семейные традиции и дарят тепло друг другу и своему преданному зрителю. В марте не стало бывшего художественного руководителя и режиссёра Римаса Туминаса. Но несмотря на трагические события он остаётся сердцем и душой театра. Коллеги и ученики мастера почтили его память трогательным номером.
Традиция проводить открытый уличный концерт в завершение сезона появилась в 2009 году по инициативе Виктора Добронравова. С тех пор ежегодно вахтанговцы устраивают праздник для театралов, чтобы попрощаться до сентября.
29 июня погода порадовала теплом и москвичи смогли насладиться представлением под открытым небом. На сцену вышли актеры разных поколений, в том числе и стажеры, принятые в театр в уходящем сезоне. Артисты поделились успехами сезона 2023-2024 года: зрители увидели 9 премьер на шести сценах. Главным открытием стала постановка «Повести Пушкина» режиссера А. Шульева по мотивам «Повестей Белкина». Зрителям также был представлен музыкальный фрагмент из повести «Барышня-крестьянка». Еще одна гордость театра – гастроли в Китае с произведениями великого русского классика А. С. Пушкина. Восточная публика горячо приняла постановку «Евгения Онегина» и выразила желание продолжить знакомиться с классикой русской культуры. После такого успеха в театре анонсировали готовящиеся осенние гастроли с постановкой «Войны и мира» Л. Н. Толстого, которые также пройдут в Поднебесной.
В 2023 году силами театра был открыт Дом Вахтангова во Владикавказе, на родине знаменитого режиссера. Теперь там можно увидеть экспозицию подлинных вещей семьи Евгения Багратионовича и восстановленный быт его эпохи. Со сцены театра на Арбате ведущие пригласили зрителей на предстоящий Всероссийский театральный фестиваль «Вахтангов. Путь домой», который пройдет с 13 по 19 июля во Владикавказе с участием актеров московской сцены. Завершился вечер ярким шоу с использованием пиротехники и конфетти-пушек.
Актеры попрощались со зрителями до следующего сезона театра, который начнется 11 сентября. В первый же день зрителям обещают показать премьеру. Продажа билетов начнется уже 2 июля.
