Екатеринбургский театр «Урал Опера Балет» представил балетную премьеру сезона – «Каменный цветок» Сергея Прокофьева. Это последний балет советского гения по уральским сказкам Павла Бажова. За «Цветок» берутся редко – масштабная партитура вызывает страх подобно горным массивам и скалам. На театральных сценах Советского Союза и современной России балет. фактически, шел в хореографии Юрия Григоровича, легенды советского балета. Урал Балет предлагает заново услышать мощь, красоту и тревогу позднего Прокофьева. История «горнозаводской цивилизации» перечитана свежим взглядом — на основе Бажова постановщики создали уральскую мультивселенную. В ней каменный цветок — вовсе не ваза из малахита. Готов ли мастер Данила к знаниям, которые ему откроет Хозяйка Медной горы? Готовы ли мы, как Данила, видеть красоту там, где ее не принято замечать?
Труппа Урал Балета всегда удивляет нестандартным и мощным видением классических сюжетов. Танцы драгоценностей и их добытчиков ставит Антон Пимонов, один из лучших российских хореографов. Занята вся труппа Урал Балета, которая всегда удивляет энергией слаженного ансамбля. Огромная Медная гора и ее недра — работа художницы Юлианы Лайковой. Выпускница ГИТИСа, она обратила на себя внимание, создав фантастический вязаный лес в екатеринбургских «Сказках Перро». В «Цветке» она выступила в роли режиссёра и разработала полторы сотни костюмов: камни, уральский народ, Катерина, Данила, Хозяйка — и танцующий Пёс, который сыграет в действии очень важную роль. Художником по свету стал выступил Денис Солнцев, а многие технические и художественные решения были предложены Сергеем Васильевым, выдающимся мастером театрального света, ушедшего в январе 2025 года – спектакль посвящен ему. . Драматургом спектакля выступил Богдан Королёк, известный балетный и музыкальный критик, специалист по творчеству Сергея Прокофьева и помощник художественного руководителя Урал Балета. И в старых сказках, и в музыке Прокофьева эта блестящая команда добывает новые уральские богатства.
