Танеев. «Иоанн Дамаскин»
Караманов. Реквием
Владимир Спиваков и Национальный филармонический оркестр России представляют два шедевра, связанные с духовной тематикой. Это Реквием Алемдара Караманова, которого Альфред Шнитке называл единственным гением среди талантливых коллег, и кантата «Иоанн Дамаскин» Сергея Танеева.
Караманов первым из русскоязычных композиторов создал заупокойную мессу на канонический латинский текст, опираясь на моцартовский образец. Танеев взял для своей кантаты фрагмент поэмы Алексея Толстого, посвященной легендарному христианскому святому – богослову и создателю песнопений. Владимир Спиваков называет сочинение Танеева «гениальным музыкальным пророчеством».
В концерте 21 апреля в Зале Чайковского принимают участие хор «Мастера хорового пения» под руководством Льва Конторовича и яркие солисты: Надежда Гулицкая (сопрано), Полина Шамаева (меццо-сопрано), Ярослав Абаимов (тенор), Игорь Подоплелов (бас-баритон).
