Впервые фестиваль красоты "Миссис Россия" был проведён в 1998 году. Сегодня мероприятие проходит под патронажем фонда "Планета женщин". Одна из победительниц получает возможность представить нашу страну на международном конкурсе "Миссис Земной Шар". Россиянки неоднократно одерживали победу на мировом уровне — к примеру, известная журналист, ведущая и писатель Алиса Крылова была обладательницей титулов "Миссис Россия-2010" и "Миссис Земной Шар-2011".
Перед началом шоу президент конкурса Алла Маркина рассказала журналистам об особенности мероприятия этого года: "Сегодня конкурс будет отличаться тем, что я, наконец, решила устроить маленький бал для своих участниц. Они будут сидеть за столами, угощаться шампанским, смотреть концертную программу, наблюдать за королевами, которые приехали их поддержать. Поэтому сегодня будет такая непринуждённая обстановка, бал красоты".
В роли ведущих вечера выступили Анна Калашникова и Александр Носик, которые весьма органично смотрелись в паре. Среди членов жюри были такие звёздные персоны, как Наталья Гулькина, Александр Савёлов-Дерябин, Полина Диброва, Елена Миронова, Вероника Бодянская, Прохор Шаляпин, Элеонора Филина, "Миссис Россия-2021" Анна Филиппова и президент конкурса Алла Маркина.
В конкурсе приняли участие 25 замужних красавиц из разных уголков страны в возрасте от 21 до 63 лет. Среди них — 9 многодетных мам и 2 бабушки.
Участницы демонстрировали на сцене не только свою красоту и грацию, но и таланты. Так, Нина Родзишевская из Севастополя показала интересный номер, сначала прочитав стихотворение, а затем исполнив бальный танец со своим сыном Александром. Неудивительно, что по итогам конкурса именно эта участница получила титул "Талант года-2022".
Не забыли организаторы и о красавицах с пышными формами: в этом году на конкурсе впервые была участница размера плюс — Ольга Каменская из Нижнего Новгорода. Женщину с уверенностью можно назвать не только эффектной, но и успешной: она является вице-президентом страховой компании и даже получила Почётную грамоту Президента РФ за вклад в развитие страхового дела. В конце вечера Ольге присудили титул "Mrs. Russia Curve-2022", и вскоре она будет представлять нашу страну на международном конкурсе для пышнотелых красавиц в США.
Обладательницей же главного титула "Миссис Россия-2022" стала Нина Банная из Москвы. Нине 40 лет, у неё трое детей 11, 15 и 16 лет. Красавица-брюнетка занимается гостиничным бизнесом и владеет небольшим отелем в Чехии. В качестве приза победительница получила не только корону с драгоценными камнями, но и возможность сняться в сериале "Зины в деле", главную роль в котором исполнит Олеся Железняк.
Едва сдерживая эмоции, новая "Миссис Россия" произнесла: "Сегодня очень знаковый день не только для меня, но и для моей семьи, которая меня очень поддерживала, помогала на всех этапах конкурса. Получив эту корону и титул, я буду осуществлять вместе с фондом "Планета женщин" благотворительные и социальные проекты в течение года. Дорогие участницы, всегда буду рада видеть вас в Москве. Уверена, что для каждой из нас это огромный шанс, и я точно знаю, что всё у нас впереди. Этот триумф я хочу посвятить своим троим детям — именно они главная победа в моей жизни".
