Глобальная проблема засухи в Африке – это суровая реальность. Она касается жизни миллионов людей и разрушает целые регионы. По данным ЮНИСЕФ в год на континенте от нехватки воды умирает более 16 млн. человек. И с этим трудно что-то поделать: постоянное изменение климата, бедность и отсутствие квалифицированных кадров просто не позволяют победить засуху в регионе. А единственным способом борьбы с ней является бурение специальных скважин, которые доставляют питьевую воду из недр земли прямо на поверхность.
Одна такая скважина в среднем обеспечивает водой 5000 человек, а их установкой занимаются частные инвесторы из дружественных стран, например, инвестор, предприниматель, меценат Дмитрий Иванов, на счету которого тысячи спасенных кенийских жизней.
«О проблеме нехватки воды в Кении мне рассказал мой друг Павел Суворов. Он состоит в одном из бизнес-клубов и не первый год занимается бурением скважин. Павел лично видел, как местное население вынуждено постоянно пить воду из загрязненных отстойников и луж. Из-за этого у взрослых и детей возникают болезни, которые приводят к мучительной смерти. Меня так поразила эта история, что я сам начал инвестировать деньги в создание скважин» – рассказывает инвестор, предприниматель, меценат Дмитрий Иванов.
Предприниматель создал команду экспертов, которые проанализировали, какие регионы Африки нуждаются в питьевой воде и результаты исследования их шокировали. Оказалось, что более 650 млн. человек просто не имеют постоянного доступа к питьевой воде и умирают от жажды. Тогда и родился план планомерного бурения скважин в Африканском регионе для долгосрочного решения проблемы.
Стоимость бурения одной скважины обходится от $2500 до $10 000, в зависимости от глубины залегания воды, и занимает порядка двух-трех недель. За это время бурильщики создают полноценную скважину и устанавливают необходимое оборудование – насосы и трубы. После окончания работ местное население может получать чистую питьевую воду без ограничений.
«Мы так привыкли к комфорту и даже не понимаем, насколько важна и ценна вода. Я лично присутствовал на запуске нескольких скважин и видел, как люди радовались обычной струе в колонке, сколько искренних эмоций. И они не могли поверить, что у них будет доступ к воде и завтра, и в последующие месяцы и годы», — делится впечатлениями инвестор, предприниматель, меценат Дмитрий Иванов.
Дмитрий с командой запустил первую скважину еще полгода назад, а сейчас готовится к бурению новой, которая обеспечит питьевой водой еще тысячи кенийцев. Меценат считает бурение скважин инвестицией в будущее всего региона, ведь свободный доступ к питьевой воде поможет не только сохранить жизнь населению страны, но и защитить природу от вымирания. Он показал другим людям пример социально ответственного подхода к решению проблем человечества.
«Я никогда не забуду глаза кенийских детей, которые впервые увидели, как из колонки потекла чистая прозрачная вода. Казалось, они никогда не видели такой воды. Детвора все пила и пила, не могла остановится. Дети не отходят от новых колонок, завороженно наблюдая за непрерывным потоком чистой воды со слезами счастья на лице. И всех их объединяет одно – несбыточная мечта о воде, просто о воде, и моей миссией стало ее воплощение в реальность. Вы можете такое представить?» — вспоминает инвестор, предприниматель, меценат Дмитрий Иванов.
По словам инвестора, решение глобальных проблем человечества, таких как недостаток воды в Африканском регионе – это одна из приоритетных миссий, выполнение которой создаст лучшие условия для жизни миллионов простых людей.
