13 и 14 сентября в театре на Юго-Западе прошла премьера постановки художественного руководителя театра, заслуженного артиста России Олега Николаевича Леушина — «Последняя женщина сеньора Хуана».
Пьеса «Последняя женщина сеньора Хуана» — это философская комедия Леонида Жуховицкого, которая считается одной из лучших его работ и не зря — спектакль до сих пор пользуется спросом, а вопросы, затрагиваемые в нем, остаются актуальными по сей день.
История рассказывает нам о сеньоре Хуане, который устал искать и отдавать свой свет тем, в ком он надеялся найти настоящую любовь. В стремлении к уединению, он останавливается в провинциальной гостинице и встречает Кончиту. Пьеса задаёт вопросы о природе любви — проклятие это, наказание или великое благо? Станет ли встреча с девушкой спасением для главного героя или очередным обманом судьбы? Должен ли главный герой умереть в финале?

Сценографию и музыкальные решения подготовил заслуженный работник культуры России- Михаил Коротков. Актёрская игра, динамичные сцены и тонкое чувство юмора безоговорочно сделают этот спектакль главным событием театрального сезона.
49‑й сезон Театра на Юго‑Западе будет также ознаменован юбилеем основателя театра, народного артиста России Валерия Романовича Беляковича, которому 26 августа исполнилось бы 75 лет. Белякович ставил эту же пьесу и исполнял роль Дона Хуана в спектакле, шедшем с 1987 по 1996 год. Постановка Олега Леушина – это дань памяти Валерию Беляковичу и попытка переосмыслить классический материал в контексте нашего времени.
